Engineering Courses to Begin From December 1: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has revised its academic calendar for the year 2020-2021. According to the notice released by AICTE, the new session for engineering courses will begin from December 1. Admission to first-year engineering courses to be extended till November 30th.
Due to prolonged emergent conditions in the country and requests from various state governments. And the ongoing admission process of llTs and NITs. The council has extended the last date of admission to first-year engineering courses (UG and Diploma lateral entry) to November 30,” the official notice reads.
The session for engineering, diploma, architecture was to be restart from August 15 for existing students. Hence from September 15 for the new batch. In order to maintain the loss, the UGC has asked the college to teach 6 days a week and to shorten the winter break as well as summer break of next year.
