Ten Days complete lockdown is done in Bengaluru. From 14th July to 23rd July complete lockdown is done. As the number of cases is increasing, Karnataka chief minister announced a complete lockdown. CMO office has clarified lockdown in both urban and rural districts.
From 8 PM on 14 July to 5 AM on 23 July .All essential services including supply of milk, vegetables, fruits, medicines and groceries will continue uninterrupted, the chief minister said in a tweet.
I request you all to follow the guidelines given by the minister. Bengaluru has reported 1,533 new cases today taking the total tally to 16,862 with 229 deaths.
Several other states have also extended lockdown. Bengal had announced lockdown till 31 July and has also stopped flights. Nagaland has also extended the lockdown till July 31. Guwahati will also be under lockdown till July 19. Arunachal Pradesh also extended the lockdown in its capital complex comprising Itanagar, Naharlagun, Nirjuli and Banderdewa for another week till July 20 in view of the spurt in COVID-19 cases in the region.
