CBI Inquire In Sushant Singh Case: The Bihar governor on Tuesday evening approved the state government’s recommendation to probe the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, who was registered in Patna with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) amid strong opposition to the Maharashtra government’s boycott.

Earlier in the day, Bihar Prime Minister Nitish Kumar had decided to register the Rajput suicide case registered against his first partner actor Riya Chakraborty to the CBI, at the request of Sushant’s father KK Rajput. Announcing the decision, the Bihar CM said his government would complete all the formalities to submit the recommendations today.

The Bihar governor agreed with the state government’s recommendation on questions raised by the Bihar government and police at the scene of the incident in the Maharashtra region.

Some prominent Maharashtra ministers have said that the Bihar police has the right to seek information from the Mumbai police in this case; There is no right to investigate the case in Maharashtra. Maharashtra ministers will further raise the issue of how much legal recommendations have been made to the Bihar government regarding the CBI probe into the case being investigated by the Maharashtra police.
“In the last five years, there have been many suicides and deaths. Have all the cases been referred to the CBI? The Mumbai police are capable of handling the Sushant Singh Rajput case and we support them,” Maharashtra Minister Anil Parab quoted.

Anil Parab also called the Bihar government’s decision “politically motivated”. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Routh said the decision was taken by a vote at a national conference in Bihar later this year.

The shootings between the two provinces began with allegations that Mumbai police were involved in the prosecution under pressure from influential people. Soon after, Sushant’s family filed a suicide case against actor Riya Chakraborty in Patna and said they did not believe in the Mumbai police investigation. Sushant’s father also said a few days ago that Mumbai police had not taken action on a complaint lodged in February this year that Sushant’s life was under threat. Mumbai police have denied receiving a written complaint.
The need for a CBI probe into Sushant’s death is across the political spectrum for almost all Bihar political parties.

The conspiracy to assassinate Sushant was discovered on Tuesday, with BJP Maharashtra leader Narayan Rane claiming that his former colleague had been killed and that his death could be linked to the death of his former manager Disha Sali. Rajput, 34, was found dead in his apartment in Bandra on June 14 and has been based on the views of Bollywood’s influential personality ever since.

Earlier in the day, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray’s son and a minister in his cabinet, Aaditya Thackeray released a statement dispelling rumors surrounding Rajput’s death. He attacked the BJP leaders for trying to take politics out of the deaths of people who are bored and jealous of the Maharashtra government.

Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis wrote on social media on Monday that Mumbai had lost its “status” in the wake of the city police handling the Sushant Singh Rajput case.
