Colleges To Be Open On This Date: Says Uday Samant. The Higher and Technical Education Minister of Maharashtra. Colleges in Mumbai were shut down since March 2020.
Colleges in Maharashtra have been closed for more than 10 months.

Mr. Uday Samant, says that the college will be open from 15th February 2021, with 50% of students in a class on a rotational basis. Colleges need to follow all COVID’19 guidelines.

Minimum attendance criteria of 75% will be waived off this year. All hostels may not reopen from 15th February as some hostels are being used as quarantine centers.
Guidelines To Follow
All students and faculty members and staff will have to wear masks and follow social distancing.
Universities must provide hand sanitizers inside the campus.

Colleges To Be Open on this date i.e 15th February 2021
Students will have to attend lectures on a rotational basis i.e 50% of students in the classroom and the rest 50% in the online class. The phase 1 reopening of colleges will be continued till 5th March.
Students who have left the state in the pandemic or is in the native place will continue with online lectures.

Exam to be conducted in both offline and online mode.
Chief Minister Mr. Udhav Thackeray will sign off on the dates. And the government will soon issue Standard Operating Procedures to all colleges.
