Dhoni announces retirement from cricket

M.S Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket on 15th August 2020 i.e on Saturday.

MS Dhoni, has announced his retirement from international cricket. Dhoni announced his retirement through a video on Instagram, its caption says: “Thanks. a lot for ur love and support throughout. from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired.”

Dhoni had earlier quit Test cricket in 2014 after the Melbourne Test on the tour of Australia and had handed over ODI and T20I captaincy to Virat Kohli in January 2017.

The 2011 World Cup winning captain is only the second wicketkeeper-batsman to touch the 10000-run mark. Sangakkara was the first designated wicketkeeper-batsman to achieve the landmark.

The entire nation is going to miss MS Dhoni for everything he has done in the cricket world. He is a pride of India.
