Gangster Vikas Dubey killed :

Yesterday i.e. 9th June 2020, Vikas Dubey was caught by Ujjain police. Vikas Dubey was the main accused in the killing of 8 policemen last week in Kanpur.

Vikas Dubey was a 56 years old, gangster-turned-politician, situated in Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. He has a bounty of 5 lakh INR on his name.

Vikas Dubey was encountered today morning when he tried to escape after a police convoy taking him from Ujjain to Kanpur, had overturned in an accident. According to the police, Vikas snatched the pistol from injured policemen and was shot in an encounter. Doctors declared him dead on arrival at the hospital.

Four police personnel where also injured in this incident, The condition of the injured policemen in the encounter with accused Vikas Dubey, is now stable. Dr Kamal said “The condition of the three injured police personnel is now stable; bullets brushed by them. Vikas Dubey had three bullet injuries on the chest and one on his arm,”. While the fourth policemen sustained minor injuries.
