Gmail down, google confirms. Google confirms that today 20th August, there were problems faced by the users while sending emails. In the morning around 10, AM twitter was full of complaints regarding Gmail down. Some users have also said the problem is with sending attachments. Down Detector shows that around 11 AM the number of complaints was more. The Google Apps status page has also updated saying they have received these complaints and will be providing a follow-up by 1.30pm. “We are continuing to investigate this issue. We will provide an update by 8/20/20, 1.30pm detailing when we expect to resolve the problem,” the message says.

Its unclear why this gmail down happened, but it has surely effected many of people. Specially in this COVID19 situation where evry hing is in online mode, it made a major effect to people.
This platform is really very important since everyone is working from home in this situation. Reportedly, Google Drive, Google Meet, and a few other online services have also been malfunctioning.
