Google for India: Google chief executive Sundar Pichai announced Google’s $ 10 billion Indian India Digitization Fund to help accelerate India’s digital economy. Below is an updated text of his comments.
Google hosted the sixth annual event for India on July 13, 2020. Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google and Alphabet announced new investments for India and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Digital India vision and steps taken to make the country Self-reliant.
Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google said: “Today at #GoogleForIndia we announced a new $10B digitization fund to help accelerate India’s digital economy. We’re proud to support PM @narendramodi’s vision for Digital India – many thanks to Minister @rsprasad & Minister @DrRPNishank for joining us.”
