WhatsApp has finally released its “Disappearing Messages” feature in India, which automatically deletes messages after 7 days.
Previously the company has come up with an update of deleting messages which lets the user delete their sent message. If within 1 hour the user clicks on delete for everyone. The message gets deleted for everyone.
However, those messages can be seen using any third party application. Using this applications are not safe and privacy can be at risk.

How to use this Feature
- Open WhatsApp
- Open the chatbox of any contact or group.
- Click on the contact name
- Scroll Down below you’ll see Disappearing messages.
- Turn on the feature if you want.
Note: In a WhatsApp group you can only turn on or off the ‘Disappearing Feature’, if and only if you are the group admin.
For personal messages, you can use this feature directly.

You can’t decide the duration, when the messages disappear in a chat, which means the only option is seven days.
