Mika Singh’s song, Sawan Mai Lagg Gai Aag is being recreated two times for different movies in a single time. Sawan Mai Lagg Gai Aag has a lot of fame for years. The original song was released in the year 1998 and gained a lot of fame. With recreations ruling the music industry. It is quite surprising to have the same songs recreated in different movies in the same month.
The singer has recreated the over-two decades-old chartbuster, for two different films. One starring Kiara Advani and Aditya Seal and on other Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey. Movies having the same songs with totally different choreography is where the competition will lead. However, in the Movie, Indoo Ki Jawani starring Kiara Advani and Aditya Seal had created a scene where everyone is seen in a traditional outfit. However on the other hand in the movie Ginny Weds Sunny starring Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey were seen doing hip hop. Hence in the movie, Ginny Weds Sunny singers like Badshah, Neha Kakkar, and Mika Singh were seen.
Mika says, “The latter has got some of the biggest names coming together. Badshah and Neha Kakkar and I are in the song and it also has the lead pair Yami and Vikrant. It can’t get bigger than that. The other recreation is an equally important one as it has Kiara and Aditya who are nailing it as well.”

Mika is aware that this is a first. “It’s a new trend that no one has done before – recreating one song in two different movies in one month. That’s definitely a first. People said to me initially that it’s a bad idea. And I like doing bad ideas first. I think it will help both the wonderful movies with some big names coming for a legendary song. Hence this is one song that the country remembers and the more the better.”
