Secondly, Colonel Tamayo with the help of the Army officers catches all the robbers and ties them up inside the Bank of Spain. Lastly, Professor had to enter the bank for the negotiation with Tamayo. What Happen To The Gold in the Money Heist?
The Robbers inside the bank successfully take out the gold. The gold is collected in the stormwater tank. However, Berlin’s son Rafael with his team dressed up as cops loot the gold from the professor. Finally, with the Professors master plan and the help of Alicia. The gold was recovered.
Did the police get the gold in Money Heist?
Yes and No. The police were able to recover the gold. But the gold was brass ingots with gold plating on it.
Was the professor able to loot the gold?
Yes, the professor and the team were successful in looting the gold. And they successfully managed to escape from the bank with the help of Tamayo.

Firstly, with the professors excellent negotiation skills and strategic planning. Professor convinces Tamayo “either we both win” or “we both loose”. At the end Tamayo agrees to store the brass ingots inside the Bank of Spain. Secondly, Tamayo falsely announces (as part of professors plan) that all the robbers inside the bank including the professor are executed. Finally, Tamayo gives new identity and passports to all the robbers to start a new life. Professor has the real gold Benjamin takes the gold to Portugal.
