The popular show “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” crew members are tested Corona positive. Yesterday Sachin Tyagi playing the role of Manish Goenka was tested corona positive. Today more three members are tested corona positive including Swati Chitnis, Samir Onkar. However, Swati Chitnis playing the role of Dadi while Samir playing role of Samar Chachu is corona positive.
Sachin Tyagi said that they were shooting with all precautions but still got corona positive. He says that we should take it in a positive manner. Hence he did not get any symptoms but still did the test. Swati Ji said even she did not have any symptoms but still did the COVID test and got corona positive. However, according to news she is doing fine now and is monitoring herself every minute. She supposes that she will get well soon and get to work.
Samir said he is not liking to be positive of some issue. Hence even he did not had any symptoms. However he did test and found COVID positive.
BMC has been acknowledged and the whole set of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is sanitized. Hence even the shooting has been stopped for a while. All the Actors and team members have been quarantined.
BMC had advised them for the same as they were showing no symptoms. Immediately, the entire on-crew team was isolated and tested. Four crew members have now tested positive. The BMC has been informed and the entire set has been sanitised and fumigated. Currently, all of them are receiving medical attention in home quarantine. We are constantly in touch with them as their health is our priority. We stand by our commitment to safety and will continue to ensure that all safety and precautionary measures are adhered to”
