Taylor Swift’s jinx banner removed from Staples Center
Taylor Swift’s jinx banner removed from Staples Center – Superstitious Los Angeles Kings fans – explaining the celebrity to be a jinx – has successfully appealed to stadium officials to remove a banner honoring 16 Swift records sold in the area. She will need her cardigan if she wants to avoid a cold reception the next time she sets foot inside Staples Center.
On Wednesday, the game’s broadcaster Arash Markazi posted a picture confirming a sign on Twitter. “It looks like Taylor Swift’s has been removed from the Staples Center”. Banners were originally hung between the beams in 2015. The Kings lifted the Stanley Cup in 2012 and 2014 – the only tournament in franchise history – and lost in the 2013 semifinals.
But since Swift Penny is making it on a permanent basis, the team has been crippled and entered the NHL prison. The Kings finished the 2019-20 season with a 29-21 record and were the only team out of seven to fail to qualify for the following season.
In 2019, excessive complaints from fans caused Swift to hide the banner during the Kings’ home games. “Communicating with our fans is our priority and through our involvement, they have made it clear that Banner Kings should not be part of their experience in the game,” said Senior Vice President Michael Altieri . “We didn’t see any problems covering it with our games and really saw it as an opportunity to show our fans that we listen to them.”
Swift Staples Center has not played since the announcement. They were scheduled to perform at Sophie Stadium in Los Angeles in late July, but the concert was canceled due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
