This is MYNTRA New Logo, MYNTRA Logo Changed Know the reason behind it.
MYNTRA is one of the largest fashion e-retailer in India. MYNTRA decided to change its logo after a woman filed a complaint against the companies offensive logo.
Naaz Patel an NGO from Avesta Foundation filed a complaint against the company in December 2020. She demanded if the company fails to do the necessary changes appropriate actions will be taken against them.
She said that “I was at a social gathering when I noticed two men started giggling after Myntra’s advertisement was played on television. When I asked them about it, they refused to tell me why. But I asked a few men later and they pointed that the logo was designed like a woman whose legs are spread open,” said Patel.
After the controversy, the company decided to change its logo on the website as well as the app and on the packaging material too.
